Action Aid Charity Night - 16th October

ActionAid is an international development charity working in over fifty countries with some of the poorest people in the world to fight against global poverty.

The charity regularly organizes fundraising challenges and builds in locations such as Nepal, Vietnam, South Africa, China and many more. Taking part in an ActionAid trek to India, 28 year old Cassie Wolfinger is about to embark on one of the biggest adventures of her life. Cassie’s glamorous job in television could not be any further from the deepest parts of India she is about to visit. Alongside other ActionAid volunteers, Cassie will trek through the foothills of the Himalayas, hiking 80km through rocky mountains and forests, visiting local communities along the way- all to raise money for ActionAid.

The journey starts here in London……..

To kick start this adventure OVER THE EDGE presents a night of live bands on Thursday 16th October including performances from Noah, The Waturs, Daddyfall, The Jackals, and ending the night with DJ Montagano who will play out the best in electro and techno house. This event is being held at Parker McMillan in London’s hip Old Street area, doors open at 7.30pm, entrance fee is £5 all of which goes straight to ActionAid.
